My goal is to be the leading consultancy known for facilitating valuable connections and driving growth for My clients. I aim to be the catalyst that propels businesses toward success by leveraging the power of networking and relationship-building.
I am a dedicated professional with over 36 years of experience in leadership, management, and administration within the child well-being and public policy sectors. My passion for advocating for children, youth, and families drives my commitment to creating positive change and promoting their rights.
Throughout my career, I have cultivated a strong vision and a tenacious approach to problem-solving, enabling me to develop innovative programs and empower teams to excel. I believe in the power of collaboration and am skilled in facilitating community engagement, training, and partnerships, particularly with Indigenous communities. Upholding the rights of Indigenous people in child welfare is a core aspect of my work, and I strive to bridge gaps and foster reconciliation within these systems.
As a thought leader, I am dedicated to influencing social policy related to child welfare and instilling confidence in others to contribute to best practices in child well-being. My leadership style emphasizes clarity in strategic planning and measurable outcomes while also nurturing a supportive environment for individual career growth and teamwork.
In addition to my extensive training and facilitation experience, I am passionate about public speaking and sharing knowledge to inspire action. I am committed to continuous learning and believe that by fostering a culture of understanding and respect, we can better serve vulnerable populations and create lasting, positive change in our communities.
As part of my journey of reconciliation, I offer this formal land acknowledgment in recognition of and respect for Indigenous Peoples and their lands in the context of the past, present, and future.
Alberta is the traditional and treaty land of many Indigenous people. I acknowledge living and working in Treaty 6 territory at Kiaskus (kiyaskos) Lake. Gull Lake is the traditional home and meeting ground for many Indigenous peoples, including the Blackfoot, Cree, Dene, Stoney, and Métis.
I also want to acknowledge that I have worked as a child welfare professional for over 36 years. My work has contributed to the colonization and violent and devastating effects on Indigenous children and families in Canada. Over the last 20 years, I have worked hard to be an ally of children and youth in/from care and their families. I am a strong proponent of Family-Based solutions, community connection, kinship opportunities, anti-racism, and decolonizing training and policy reforms.
Ripple Connect Consulting aims to support and strengthen relationships while also encouraging development and progress among its clients or partners.
